The shape of Korean Ginseng

Mystery beyond the interest

¡°Ginseng root has legs, arms, eyes and noses and looks ethereal with its humanoid shape.
¡± As quoted in Bonchogangmok, an ancient Chinese handbook for medicinal herbs,
the overall appearance of Korean Ginseng is similar to that of a human being, with many side
roots from the main root. So the name of ginseng is bearing the meaning of ¡®human-
resembling root¡¯. Being shaped like a human being, it is regarded as not only an effective
herb medicine and a health food but also a mysterious thing, even after its ingredients
have been scientifically analyzed and unveiled. Accordingly, the more similar its shape is
to human being, the more valuable it becomes. It has been proved that ginseng root,
proportionally formed and balanced closer to a human being, has solid inner structure and
superior ingredients inside it.

How to select high-grade Ginseng

¡ñ Main root, lateral root and fine root should be developed evenly.
